In October 2022, the amazing team at Cinema Alive invited Hobo IllusionerZ to participate in the scariest nights in Athens. Naturally, the invitation was accepted. Hours of makeup, facial prosthetics, fake blood, contact lenses, and very strange hair transformed us into the most terrifying live zombies. The audience at Lunar Space left utterly frightened but simultaneously very impressed by the final result. Forty actors, street-style dancers, acrobats, all together on a huge stage under the sounds of Michael Jackson‘s “Thriller.” The date for next year is already set.

Hobo illusionerZ Shine at “Concentric Carousels” Concerts (2019)

In the heart of Athens, under the auspices of the Attica Region, Hobo illusionerZ participated in four concerts titled “Concentric Carousels.” The well-known actor Haris Romas attended the performances as the sector commander of the Municipality of Athens and congratulated all the teams for their professionalism.

Hobo illusionerZ delivered an acrodance choreography full of energy and impressive acrobatics, cheerleading and rhythmic gymnastics skills earning incessant applause from the audience. Despite the cold, Stevens and Konstantinos briefly took on the roles of elves, spreading smiles and warmth. Subsequently, the crew performed the “Africa” choreography, which has become one of the most beloved routines. At the end of the show, all artists filled the stage, creating a human carousel consisting of concentric circles.

Special thanks to Marios Strofalis, who wrote the scenario for the show, the stilt walkers Nikos Makkas and his partner, the talented singer-artist Nastazia Beikof, and the mime artist Fanis Kafousias. Hoodgroove Management  enhanced the show with the best artists: Hobo illusionerZ (Acrodance), Alex Pitsalidis (Freestyle Basketball), and Hyperlinks Crew (Hip Hop and Break Dance).
